Welcome to the Wembley Primary School website. Wembley has a proud tradition of being a leading education provider in Yarraville and surrounding suburbs for over fifty years.
Our focus as a school is to provide all our students the opportunity to reach their potential. Literacy and Numeracy are the fundamentals of the curriculum at Wembley. Learning is supported through a balanced program including arts, sports, ICT and humanities.
Results for many years have been above state average for literacy and numeracy. Additionally students achieve success in many other ways eg, choirs, sports teams, chess tournaments, and academic competitions.
The motivated, skilled and caring staff at Wembley continuously engage in professional learning to deliver a curriculum that ensures all students learn.
The students at Wembley are very fortunate to study in a well resourced school featuring, classroom libraries, a range of playing surfaces/fields, substantial ICT access, (interactive whiteboards, desktops, laptops, and peripherals such as flip cameras, soundfield systems, video), Music room, Hall and Art room.
